Cannot install Windows Live Messenger?

Does anyone have any suggestions on why I cannot install WLinstaller.exe
under XP SP2? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem?

Perhaps you can start by telling us what happens when you attempt to install
it and what you've done so far to troubleshoot the problem?
