Cannot install PS3 on XP Pro x64-error

When trying to install PS3 an error message, "PS3 for Windows cannot be
installed on this version of Windows. Check the system requirements for PS3
before trying to install."

Asus K8N Athlon-64 3400+
n-Force 3, DDR 1GB PC-3200/400MHZ
Video card GEFORCE-FX-5500 256MB DVI+VGA
HD250GB 7200RPM 8MB SATA
DVD RW 16X+RW DUAL LAYER
AC 97 Direct 3D sound integrated
Windows XP Pro x64 3790 build

Did you check to see that PS3 can be installed on a 64bit processor?

There was no info to tell me one way or another, but I posted same ? in the
x64 group, it's not compatible with x64 OS. Thanks anyway.
