When I try to install critical updates I get a
message "Setup could not verify the integrity of the file
Update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic service is
running on this computer."
A search of this problem suggested that I try to re-
register a number of dll's using Regsvr32, but when I
attempted to do this I got an error
message "Regsvr32crypdlg.dll (or other dll's I tried) is
not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Can anyone help? I'm a real novice at this and I'm
stymied. If at all possible could you please send a
reply to (e-mail address removed) because I'm not sure I can
find my way back to this newsgroup. Thanks.
