Cannot install 2 updates

The following updates cannot be installed, no reason given; the
updates just show "Failed":

Security Update For Excel Viewer 2003 KB918425

Security Update for Office 2003 KB917151

Thoughts and/or solutions?

Couple thoughts:
1. Make sure actually have the apps installed that you are trying to update.
2. Do you have enouph free disk space?
3. Make sure you have admin priv's before installing.
