Cannot Import

I've got an Access 2k db, and have been importing for
years with it, now I cannot import. I'm attempting to
import a .txt file, but after I select the file from the
import menu, the import wizard does not show up. The
status bar says "Import Text Wizard", but all I see on the
screen is the database window.

Please advise...
