Cannot import JPG files larger than 1 MB

I'm using FrontPage 2000 V4.0.2.6625 on Windows 2000
Professional SP4. I've installed SP 1.3 for FrontPage 2000
server extensions.

I cannot import files larger than 1MB. For example, if I
try to import a JPG file or a group of files that total
more than 1MB, the import fails with the message:

"An error occured accessing your FrontPage web files.
Authors - if authoring against a web server, please
contact the webmaster for this server's site....."

The application event log gives "Received empty response
from Microsoft FrontPage"

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm building a page of
thumbnails with links to about 50 pictures from a band
concert. Most of the pictures are 500KB. I can import the
pictures individually but cannot grab the folder or more
than 1 or 2 pictures at a time depending on the file size.

You either have to import the files individually or remove the update.
