Cannot import from Excel datasheet to Access IMPORTto table error

AN error ocurred trying to import file C:\...The file was not imported. I
have tried using the wizard, but it doesn't work. I have a new table (empty)
when I put the name of the access table "Import to table" it doesn't import.
Where would youlike to store yourdata? it doesn't import either choice.
Please help me soon. Thank you.

Did you try clicking on menu FILE - Get External Data - Import and selecting
Excel as file type. Locate your file and import into new table.
