Cannot get to any websites from 1 PC

We have one PC connected wirelessly on network. All of a sudden browsing
internet no longer possible..
1) We can ping wireless router just fine and other PC's are able to browse.
Skype works just fine on this PC (even voice which is very bandwidth
intensive)
2) Firewall has been up and running on this PC forever but we did shut it
down. Did not solve issue
3) "Tracert" to web addresses is VERY slow even if we use exact IP address.
So looks like packet loss.
4) If you http:// googles IP address you still get nothing
5) Virus protection up to date and PC scanned. However unable to determine
status re spyware at this time.
6) ipconfig settings seem correct and have not changed since installation.
7) No new programs installed which could be contributing to problem.

Stumped - any help would be appreciated..

1). Can you find anything in the event viewer logs that will give some
hints.
2). Another thing is do you have all the drivers installed on your machine,
especially the Network Driver.

Nishi,
Thanks:
Nothing apparent in Event viewer. Network drivers installed. Remember some
applications are working just fine over the network (like Skype)

Rick,

This is symptomatic of an MTU setting problem.
