Cannot get rid of roboform

I've tried deleting the program several times but the folder keeps
reappearing. How can I finally get rid of it so that I can download the
older version please?

What do you mean by "I've tried deleting the program several times"? Are
you manually trying to delete the program folder in Windows Explorer?
The proper method is to uninstall it through the Add/Remove Programs
applet in the Control Panel.

It is possible that the program is designed to protect it's program
folder and data folders from accidental deletion, so you don't lose your
valuable Safenotes and Passwords.

I forgot to mention, most passcards etc from a newer version won't be
readable by an older version in many cases.
