cannot find usb

hi all....
When i inserted the pen drive to my system, it was unable to detect.
Itried in many ways.
Then when i checked the device manager , the usb controller was not in
the list.
But my motherboard manual says it supports usb2.0 and there are 2 usb
ports to plug in...


please help me solve this . thanks in advance.

I don't understand you 100% but go into Device Manager and remove USB
wherever mentioned and reboot. Windows should detect and reinstall if they
exist. Because your mobo manual says USB is supported doesn't mean you have
it.
