Well, it's hard to tell since you haven't told us what the software is or why
you knew that the problem is related to PowerPoint. But, apparently the
software is trying to display a PowerPoint presentation in the PowerPoint 97
Viewer. You can try downloading and installing the Viewer from http://office.microsoft.com/downloads/2000/Ppview97.aspx. However, I suspect
that might not help and that you should probably write to the people who
developed the software.
