cannot find my posted question

Hi,

i have been corresponding with Jan De Messemaeker for a couple of days
regarding a problem, which has been a great help.

Although I stopped getting replies from him about 2 days ago. About 4 hours
ago i posted a new question. Sure enough, as normal i received a reply in my
email inbox, saying that i had received as response to my new posted
question. Problem: when i hit the link to rate the post it just directs me to
the discussion group, but there is no evbidence of my post. What does this
mean?

Regards,

It means that it is now time to start using a proper usenet client rather
than the web interface provided by Microsoft. Common usernet clients for
Windows include Outlook Express (use the free OE Quotefix add-on to make it
more usable), Forte Agent and 40tude Dialog. I'd suggest Outlook Express
with OE Quotefix as it's probably the simplest to use unless you need
advanced functionalities. This will allow you to mark your own threads and
post and find them easily. It will also make browsing newsgroups and
reading new messages a lot easier and faster. You can use the free usenet
server provided by Microsoft (news.microsoft.com, no authentication
required) to start with.

By the way, all the messages that you have posted on usenet forums with the
eugene76 nickname are there:

Eugene,

Maybe that you took to much from Jan's time and he had no other answer than
stopping the discussion.

Most of us want to help, but to want to help to let the community deal in
the problem.
Maybe did Jan create it in that way.
