Okay, I am lost. I am trying to get something on a disc to view on my
Windows Vista Home computer.....do you think that I could get it to work?
Noooooooooooooo. I have hours left to get this project completed and I am
not able to find this file anywhere online, much less download it.

This is needed for a court case, and time is of the essence. Of course, all
the "computer geeks" in this town hear "Vista" and groan....so there isn't
going to be help there.

HOW DO I MAKE THIS DISC VIEWABLE?

thank you for that, but not one of those says in the sytem requirements that
Vista is an option. I have no freakin clue what one of those to even start
to try - knowing my luck, whichever I pick will cause my OS to implode.

Mick's advice is good. That's exactly the download you need. The file you
want is msxml.msi

MSXML 4.0 was released *before* Vista; hence, Vista is not listed as a
specifically supported OS. However, MSXML 4.0 runs fine on Vista - I have it
on all my Vista machines. Make sure you install the SP2 version; also, run
Windows Update after you install it to get any updates. There were a few XML
security hotfixes released after 4.0 SP2.

Good luck, hope it helps,
Andrew

THANK YOU. I followed his link offered and had a whole page of options to
download. I didn't know WHAT exactly I needed, and to grab them all would
have probably been more trouble than help.
