cannot find data1.dat

I keep getting a message from wupdater saying data1.dat
cannot be found. Is this a problem I need to fix, and if
so how do I fix it?

I had the same problem. After I checked on the internet I found
anothor forum: http://www.pcbanter.net/showthread/t-313734.html.
Here is what someone from this formu sugested:

Download Adaware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/ and =
use it to remove parasites.

After downloading this sofware, I installed and run it. It worked fine and
now everything is OK. Hope you will have the same results
