Cannot export Query to Excel

I have a query I wrote that runs fine.

I can run it, select all & copy everything to Excel (manually) and that
works fine.

but if I try to export the query to Excel - I get this error:

"The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add.
Try inserting or pasting less data"

There are 106 fields and 1300 records.

some more info please.
Do you have any memo fields in the query?
Do you have the Unique Values set to yes in the query?

All data is in Excel and linked to Access 93.

There is at least one field that has text that is too long (when I copy
paste).

I haven't done anything with unique values - so no.

I trimmed all of the data in the excel data sheets and now it works fine.

I'll check out the link you posted for the work around - I may need it
