cannot do a system restore

hello ,
when i try to do a " system restore "
i'm told that : " system restore cannot etc. " .
i've tried several points to no avail .

you might try to disable your
antivirus first.

also, a restore point can be
initiated via safe mode

What is your anti-virus software? Norton Anti-virus has been known to
block the System Restore and they have a FAQ article on this.
