Cannot delete unknown type object in AD

T

Thomas Arcclight

Hi,
Í have two unknown type objects in my AD. Followed the MS
KB305104, but I get "access denied" when trying to take
ownership even though I´m logged on as administrator.
Also tried to use dsacls on the object without finding it.
(the object is an old exch 5.5 distr.list now displayed as
a unknown contact).
How can I delete the object from my AD?

These may help. The objects may be different but the steps will be the same.

Kris,

Have you disabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP (NetBT)? If you haven't, have you
stopped or disabled either the 'Browser' service or the 'NetBIOS over TCP/IP
Help Service'?

Was a solution ever found? I have the identical issue.

Thanks,
