Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk.

On my WindowsXP machine running IIS with anonymous ftp, I
accidently had write permission enabled and someone
uploaded many files which I cannot delete through Windows
Explorer. I get the message "Cannot delete file: Cannot
read from the source file or disk." Any other way to
delete them?

You can try deleting in Safe Mode from the Administrator account, but
frankly if you are running an ftp server that has been hacked, the only
way to be sure you are not compromised further is to format the drive
and clean install Windows.

Good luck,

Error Deleting File or Folder - Cannot delete (filename): Cannot find the
specified path. Make sure you specify the correct path and file name.
Workaround:

Right click the Recycle Bin/Properties/Check: Do Not Move Files to the
Recycle Bin...
