"Cannot delete ???: cannot find the specified file"

I did a SAVE AS WEBPAGE COMPLETE and used the default
filename (which it turned out was very long). Now I can
not access or delete the file, I receive the "cannot find
the specified file" error message. I have tried
everything I can think of to get rid of this file,
including using the DOS shell and specifying the 8
character DOS filename. Does anyone know how to get rid
of this file?

Use Display Properties>Desktop>customize desktop. You should see "web"
button. Go to this and clear it.
