Cannot delete a Userprofile on Terminalserver

Hello all
a user has a problem on one of the win2k Adv - Terminal Server we are using.
Normally i delete his profile (roaming) and eventually locally in
c:\document and settings\username.
He's getting an error message, the profile could not be loaded.
Now this time i don't see this profile informations. I try to deletet the
rests of the profile doing this:
right click - My computer - properties - profiles
here i can see the user profile of this user BUT i can not delete it (or
change from local to roaming). If i try to delete the profile i get an error
message saying:
Profile not deleted completely. error - the system cannot find the file
specified.

There are no entries in the whole registry from this user. No document and
settings..

How can i delete the profile ?

Thanks
Bruno

You suffer from the dreaded "Event 1000 syndrome" :-(
Check your EventLog to verufy that this really is your problem.

EventID 1000 (with source Userenv) is a very common
one. Have a look here for a large number of causes and possible
solutions:

Additional hotfixes for this issues (that haven't made it yet to
EventID.net):

an Intermittent Handle Leak in Spoolsv.exe - pre-SP5 hotfix
