I have found a couple of posts which seem to mention the problem I am
seeing but I have seen no solutions that I could find. Sorry if its in
a faq somewhere.
anyway here is the situation. I reply to an email with outlook 2003
using word 2003 as my editor. at this point I would like to select the
text in the "to:" field and copy (ctrl-c) and paste it in lets say a
notepad window. however when I use ctrl-c ctrl-v all i get is the
name/nick name of the person and not the email address. is there a way
to change this behavior? the only other thing I seem to be able to do
is double click the entry in the to field which brings up the email
properties window and then select the "email address" field and copy
that. its a small extra step, but it is annoying that what i select in
the to: field isnt all copied with ctrl-c.
thanks for any help
