Hi all

I am running win2k server with sp3. From
windows 2000 professional with old terminal client I can
copy and paste files from termnal window and local machine.

With the new client on XP machine I cannot copy
and paste or map local drive to terminal server? Any
ideas? Is it possible?

Copying and pasting files doesn't work with the verison of
the RDP client that is running on your Windwos XP machine.

Take a look at TSDropCopy from AnalogX.com for a solution
to your problem, rather than using RDPClip.

Why local drive does not mapped eventhough I
selected "disk drives" under local devices.
thanks

Those features are only supported when connected to a
server that supports to RDP 5.2 protocol. Windows 2000
only support RDP 5.0. Windows 2003 does though.

From my original post:

They didn't take the feature out...the protocol is just
getting more advanced and now the copy/paste ability is
built into the protocol. You don't need a helper
application that works outside the RDP protocol.
