For the last few days (or possibly longer) I have been unable to connec
to a specific website: www22.verizon.com. I can however connect t
www.verizon.net. and all other websites. No other site gives me thi
specific error. Also, Verizon is my ISP.

When I try to connect to the www22 address, I get the following
"Server Unavailable. The service you are requesting is unavailable
Please try again later."

I am running XP Home and in the last few days I upgraded my Norto
Security to the 2005 edition. I am not positive the error has anythin
to do with the Norton's upgrade as I only access this website once
month to pay by ISP bill so the problem could've started anytime in th
last month.

The server on the site is not having any problems as it can be accesse
from other PC's. I have spoken to Verizon tech support and they hav
been unable to help so far.

I appreciate any help anyone can provide.

Thanks, Bruc

I just want you to know that I have the same problem on a Dell
Dimension 4300 running Windows XP. I have had the same problem for
months and have to use another computer to pull up the URL. The site
also shows an 'unable to connect' with both Firefox and IE7 and shows
the same message when verizon.com switches to the 22verizon URL. I have
been running Norton Anti-Virus and Zone Labs free firewall. Same basic
'help' from Verizon who is also my ISP.
Anyone know a workaround?
