Cannot close maximised report

When a previewed report has been maximised the Close, Minimise, and Maximise
buttons are no longer visible. The only Close button visible is that of the
Access window. Is this problem well known?

Have you gone out of your way to hide all menu bars? An Access app must always
have a main menu bar because the right side of the main menu bar is where these
"missing buttons" appear on maximized objects.

It's not a big deal on forms because you can easily add your own buttons to
forms that replace the default ones. This is not possible however with reports.

I do get rid of Menu bars so that if my users get below my UI illegally they
cannot do very much. Getting to the Access UI properly (which is restricted
to certain users) reinstates the Menu Bars.

I have got round the problem by disabling the Maximise button on reports but
it irked me not to know why it happened.

Have you checked the BorderStyle Property of the report, if it set to none,
then it will remove the Max,Min and close button
