Cannot change table field even though table removed fromRelationships.

Hi All

I have a table which I had in my Relationshios layout linked to other
tables. I want to remove a field and add a different field in its
place.

So, first, I delete the table from the Relationships window and save.

However when I attempt to change the field Access tells me that I
cannot until I delete the relationship! What gives? I just deleted the
relationship! The table does not appear at all!

Does anyone else have this problem and how do I get around it? It is
*very* annoying.

Ah ha! I was merely removing the table from the Relationships window.
I needed to show it and remove the actual relationship *links* to
other tables before I could make the change.

I had assumed that removing the table from view deleted all the
relationships - it does not.
