Cannot change status from "Don't Publish" to "Publish"

For some reason, all of my files are listed as "Don't Publish" with a red "X"
next to them. I have tried to right-click on the file to change to "Publish"
but nothing changes. Any ideas on how to get my files off of "Don't Publish"
status?
 
In case anyone else stumbles across this, wanted to provide the solution that
I found on my own ...

Right-click on the file (or folder) and select "Don't Publish". One would
think you would want to select "Publish" but apparently this turns of the
"Don't Publish" command.
