Cannot boot into windows or dos (vmm32.vxd)

Inadvertantly deleted VMM32.VXD. Wether I try to start the normal way
or using the startup disk, I get nowhere.

Please help

Interesting since that file is not on my system. Are you sure that is the
only file you deleted? Which version of Windows do you have?

No.
The PC goes to windows logo and a dialog box advises that Windows (
98SE)cannot be loaded without the vmm32.vxd file

Go into bios and switch first boot devise to floppy
