Cannot assign respective signature to multiple e-mail accounts

I followed the instructions but it simply doesn't work. I created different
signature for different accounts and assigned the respective signature to
their respective accounts through the advanced tab.

Only works when replying. Sounds like a bug. Am I the only one? Any fix
out there?

Thank you!

When you start a new message, Windows Mail has no way of knowing
which account you want, so it assumes you want the default account.
Changing the 'From' account later on during the composing process
does not change the signature.

You may want to upgrade to Windows Live Mail since it is better at
picking the account signature you intended for new messages.

Thank you Gary! I read other post and found a similar answer to yours. In
fact it might have been from you. I already downloaded WLM and will try to
set it up properly.

One more question: Should I delete the Windows Mail program (assuming I'm
happy with WLM)?

Thanks again Gary!

You can't delete Windows Mail since it is an integral part of Vista.
Windows Live Mail will hide the shortcuts to Windows Mail, so
to a casual observer it looks like it has gone away. However,
uninstalling WLM will bring WM back.
