Cannot Add Printer?!

I'm being plagued by a Windows anomaly.
I start off by going to Start>Control Panel>Printers & Faxes> and this
is where it gets odd. i click "Add a Printer" on the left panel and
nothing happens. no hourglass or anything. Is there an .exe file in the
system dir I can run? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Does this command launch the Printer Wizard? Type the following command between and without the
"[]" in the Run dialog box or Command Prompt:

[%windir%\system32\rundll32.exe Shell32.dll,SHHelpShortcuts_RunDLL AddPrinter]

Bump has no meaning here. You may not realize it, but this is actually a
newsgroup, not a board or forum. Also you need to be patient. It can take
