Cannot add members to local admin group

Hi:

Has anyone else had this problem in the past? For some
weird reason, I'm not able to add users from Active
Directory to the local administrator group on machines on
the network. I get an error that's something
like, "Processing of object...".

I'd appreciate any help you can offer on this!!

What steps exactly are you following to do it (i.e. what tools, what
options, what ids, etc)

and what exactly is the error message.
