I have downloaded the trial version, entered the allocated product key number
but still cannot activate - help

a box comes up about "cannot find internet connection" which it asks to check
and try again. I know the internet connection is okay because I can use it
for browsing and everything else. I have checked the connection and it is
okay.

Hi Darla,

If you have a firewall be sure that is set to allow the Activation wizard to use the Internet.

How will I know? Does it need to be set lower than it is?

Hi Darla,

You'll probably need to check the help file or website for the particular brand of antihacker/firewall protection you're using to
see how to allow particular programs to have permanent or temporary access. You can, try turning off the firewall for a brief time
and then try to activate. If that works turn the firewall back on.

I have downloaded the trial version - have entered my office product key but
cannot activate - please helpc

I have the same problem and once I type in the last digit of the product key
# or letter it all goes to red and says the product key is not vailid. I've
downloaded and saved microsoft word 3 different times, tried 3 different
product keys and all 3 do the same error message.
It's suppose to give us a "Free Trial Period of 60 Days" why can't we get
it????
