Cannot access windows installer components. Setup cannot continue

It gave me this error after copying the files
it used to work when i installed windows 98 then upgraded
to windows me .. then i went out and got the fullversion
of windows me swo i dident ahve to waste my time
installing 98 i would just pop in the cd and i would have
no problem but then when i try to install framework it
gave me this error

Cannot access windows installer components. Setup cannot
continue

plz some1 help me!! and send me an email ty sooo much ^^

Installer which you can grab from

I think thats the latest and has a 'Win Me' version for
you to get.

gave me an errer saying " the specified servis already
exists" .. hmm perhaps maybe i can remove it and reinstall
how do u uninstall windows installer

hm mayb its my windows installer.. it says its alrdy
exist.. is there a way i can unstall it and reinstall it
again perhaps that will fix the problem... thxz anyone
know how to unstall it??

Have a look at the installed apps list in the control panel. Other than
that, I'd be careful about deleting key DLL's.
