cannot access VPN server behind the RRAS

Hi,
I had a SBS2000 server proviously is working fine as proxy
& VPN server. Problem started after I had setup a win2000
RRAS server for DMZ and LAN, all VPN client can't reach
the server with message the server is not responding.
I had configure the WAN adapter in NAT to forward port 47
and 1723 from ex-ip to int-ip.
All other server is working fine. Please help, urgent.

One thing is that you need to configure "protocol 47" for GRE - not port 47.
Sometimes this is referred to as pptp passthrough. This assumes you are using pptp.
It may also help if you configure the client connectoid to use pptp instead of auto
in properties/network type. Looking at the firewall logs for dropped packets may
also help in troubleshooting.

See the link below on exactly how to do such. The problem may be that you configured
"port 47" which should be "protocol 47" which is GRE. --- Steve
