Hello!
Somewhere in february, one of my users got infected with the brontok
worm. Then another one. As standard, we use Antivir but it was clear
that it was not able to
prevent this infection. Now, i got a tip from a colleague to try
Avast. Avast did
eliminate the worm. And i installed it on other computers. But now, it
seems that Avast is preventing one
of our web application which is in test phase to run. I disinstalled
it, but still it does not work. I almost 100% sure that
the problem comes from Avast because the only PC where the web
aplication works does not have Avast installed.
Any idea how to solve this problem?

This is urgent. So, if you can help, please post your solution.

Thnks for your time.

So, is avast gone back on the machine after Uninstalling or the machine even
without avast still can't access/run the Applications?.
May be the worm corrupted the test application and you need to uninstall and
reinstall that application, back up your data for that application though.
HTH.
