I'm very wary of "breakthroughs" that make the headlines. They do make a good headline.

I have a book, printed in 1931, which states, with great conviction, that the cures for cancer and the common cold would be "available in the next year or two."

It certainly looks promising - although I also take the point made by Niv, that these "break-throughs" are jumped on by the media way before the studies are conclusive. Let's hope this one will come to fruition :nod:
