cancelling a sent email

I sent and email that I need to cancel. It was received but not yet opened
by the recipient. Any way I can retract it?

How do you know that the recipient has not yet read it? Maybe they did.
There is no way for you, as the sender, to ensure that you can know whether
or not they read your e-mail.
