Cancelling a Change

I have a form where users are inputing directly to the table, using combo
boxes. However, I am stuck in how to handle when a duplicate entry is made.

Currently I give a warning, and thought my code was resetting the line.
Unfortunately, it appears that I am actually deleting the duplicated entry.

I was thinking that if I could give the warning, and then run a Cancel event
(like hitting the ESC key), which would undo the change on-screen, and in the
database. Or code that might help me easily return the data to its previous
state.

Thanks.
