Cancel selection in ListView on MouseClick

I would like to cancel the selection of the ListViewItem in the
ListView on MouseClick?
Any help would be appreciated.

Probably more than one way to do this. Here's one way:
private void listView1_SelectedIndexChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
listView1.SelectedIndices.Clear();
}
