Cancel capital letter at start of new line with a manual "enter"

If you do a manual return the new line always starts with a capital letter.
How do I
stop this? It also does this on emails. Nuisance.
Also, how can you change the width of emails similarly to Word?

Uncheck tools > autocorrect options > autocorrect > capitalize first letter
of sentences.
The display of e-mails is a function of the e-mail software.

Stop pressing the Enter key at the end of each line. Just keep typing and
let Word wrap your text according to the margins and paragraph indents you
have set.
See http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/concepts/introduction/index.html

A manual return tells Word that you are beginning a new paragraph, and thus
a new sentence. When you need to start a new line without ending a paragraph
or beginning a new sentence, use Shift-Enter which inserts a manual line
break.

If you see Word capitalize something you don't want capitalized, you can
press Ctrl-Z and undo that action.
