Cancel Button on Parameter Query

I use parameter queries to enter data and they work fine when clicking the OK
button. When clicking the Cancel button, each query gives a 2950 error on
the Action Failed screen. I tried to find a field in the properties to
handle the cancel condition but could not.

What and how can I assign something to the Cancel button to close the dialog
box and return to the previous screen?

Queries in Access work fine for ... querying the data in the tables.

If you want to do data entry, consider using what Access provides
specifically for that purpose, i.e., Forms.
