Can’t get Runtime package to autorun

I am trying to create an autorun cd from the flies produced by Access 2007
Runtime “Package Solution Wizardâ€. This produces the following

1. A folder called “filesâ€
2. A file “setup.exeâ€
3. A file called “autorun.infâ€

The autorun.inf file (produced by the package) contains to following;
[autorun]
OPEN=SETUP.EXE /AUTORUN
ICON=SETUP.EXE,1

All exactly as per MS help sheets and every tech web site I ask , but when
burnt onto a cd (root directory) it just wont autorun!

I have burned these three items several time to a cd with the same result,
it will not autorun. (Commercially produced progs with a similar autotrun.inf
file work perfectly on the same computers – so it’s not the setting on the
pcs).

When I insert a cd with these files on, the Windows Explorer directory
appears on the screen, if you double click “setup.exe†directly, all is well
and the program installs perfectly.

Many thanks in advance – please help a very frustrated newbie!

I have tried running the cds I have created on 3 pcs, all running Window XP,
with SP 3. All with same result the cd does not autorun. Though all three
will autorun commercially “pressed†cds (they seem to have essentially the
same inf code as me) instead Window Explorer displays the cd contents. If you
then double click on setup.exe, Runtime and my application installs
perfectly.
All three pc still have the default settings i.e. autorun has never been
turned on or off. I have tried with regit set NoDriveTypeAutoRun value set
at both 95 and 91 on one pc with the same results.
In any event the important thing is not my own pcs, but that the cds I
produce autorun on my client’s pcs (unless they have autorun turned off of
course).
Is the inf code produced by the runtime wizard correct, and am I right in
simply burning the content of the wizard as produced?

What operating system? Might you have disabled Autorun?
