Can you uninstall Windows Mail? If so, how?

I have installed Windows Live Mail.

Now I do not see a way to uninstall Windows Mail.

Can you uninstall? How?

if no uninstall, then how do I have configure OUTLOOK to handle <.eml>
extensions, they keep defaulting to windows mail, I have outlook configured
to"download message header only" and it syncs with other gadgets I have to
use.

Outlook cannot read eml files. You can use Notepad to read those if you
want.
