Can you turn Conditional formatting off in macro?

Is it possible to turn conditional formatting off at the start of
macro and then apply he conditional formatting back to the cell afte
the macro has run? (when i say conditinal formatting i mean the buil
one in Excel)

No you have to delete the formats.
