Can you track Shutdown/Restarts

Hello all,

Forgive the question, but I need a little help. Is there
a way in the event log to track system shutdowns or
restarts. I know it does logons but am unsure if you can
do shutdowns or not. I really need to know. Any help
would be appreciated.

Shutdown events are logged in the System Event Log.
