I would like to make a "program" in PowerPoint and the only thing keeping me
from doing so is the fact that you cannot save a PowerPoint presentation in
progress. Like if I have a bunch of buttons, I'd like to be able to save
where I am in the presentation and what buttons were pushed, so I can open it
up later and continue the presentation.

I don't think this'd be possible w/o at least *some* vba programming.

For that to have a chance, you'd need to be certain that the presentation would
always play back in PPT itself, not the viewer, and that the user's security
settings would permit your macro code to run.
