I have created a ppt slideshow for a gift and wanted to show it at a party.
Is there any way to copy it to play on a tv through a regular cd/dvd player?

You could convert it to a PhotoStory 3. I recently made a slideshow with
PhotoStory3, burned it to DVD, and watched in on a computer. (That's
assuming you have XP, you also need Windows Media player 10) But if you have
these 2 items, PS3 is *way* awesome for making a slide show. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx
Thanks for the info but I have another question for you. If the ppt is
already done can you convert it directly to PhotoStory or do I have to
recreate the whole project?
The web site recommends a lot of different pieces of software. I'm not
familiar with Sonic DVD specifically. Perhaps someone else can answer
that for you.

Darn, I was afraid you'd ask that.
I googled, didn't turn up anything. There *may* be a way that I"m not aware
of, but I'm sorry, I can't find one now.
