Yes David it's the C-drive. and the system are same manufacture"Compaq" they are not the same in models. I expected some of the devices to have a few issues but not total lock up, i was hoping to slide by like you could with 95/98

Normally, unless the new motherboard is virtually identical to th
old one (same chipset, IDE controllers, etc), you'll most likely nee
to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade) installation, at th
very least (and don't forget to reinstall any service packs an
