Can you make a graph with Ranges?

I have a scatter graph displaying monthly data. I need a
way to print the graph so it doesn't display 0's for the
remaining entries that don't have data with out having to
manually adjust the cell ranges. Can I do something by
using range names in the data range of the chart?
 
Under Tools, Options, Chart select Plot Empty Cells as unplotted.
