can you loop an mp3

Is there a way that I can loop an mp3 sample so that there is no pause?
I have a 1 minute clip that I want to copy and fill a CD with. I used
mp3merge to combine the files making one big mp3. This new file had
pauses where the files joined.

I tried to use mp3direct cut to remove the pauses between the joined
files. I cut out the pauses but it still pauses when they were joined.
The new file played without any pauses while it was still loaded in
mp3direct cut. When I saved the file and played it the pauses where
still there.

You could try Winamp in repeat mode with a gapless audio
plugin and record with Audacity for 80 mins

You could put 80 copies on a cd with no 2s silence gap
between the tracks

you could use MP3DirectCut's Append Function

You could Convert to a wave and Cut and Paste in Audacity

Add Tracks as usual.
select every track except the first one.
right click -> properties
change Pause to 0 seconds

works great for live concert CD's
