Can you embed a worksheet in another worksheet?

I would like to put a worksheet inside another worksheet. Anyone know how?
I have a bunch of data that is sorted chronologically and would like a small
area (independent of the main sheet) to show monthly totals at a glance.
 
I guess you need to create a second file with your summary cells. Then in
Excel 2003, click on the menu Insert > Object, then tab "Create from file"
and select the Excel file you want to embbed. This file can have some
references to the "container" file, so it will update each time you update
the main file.
